BioMur is a muramidase-based feed and water additive built around a 1,4-beta-N-acetylmuramidase enzyme derived from Aspergillus niger. The enzyme exerts proteolytic and fibrinolytic activity that suppresses harmful gut microflora, reduces digesta and fecal viscosity, and lowers ammonia emissions from the litter. The result is drier bedding, fewer foot-pad lesions, and improved liveability and growth performance in poultry, with additional benefits reported in swine and fish diets. It also helps limit bacterial contamination of eggshells and can assist in preserving feed.

Dosage: Poultry: 100-500 g per tonne of feed, or 100-400 g per cubic metre of drinking water; 200 g per cubic metre of water to reduce bacterial eggshell contamination; 200-300 g per tonne of feed for feed preservation.
