Granulated second-generation pleuromutilin antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, inhibiting protein synthesis via the ribosomal 50S subunit. Reaches peak concentrations in the respiratory tract, liver and intestines within an hour of oral dosing and remains active for 6-12 hours. Used against dysentery, ileitis, colitis, streptococcosis, enzootic pneumonia and severe complicated pneumonias.

Dosage: 3-10 mg/kg for dysentery/ileitis/colitis, 10-20 mg/kg for pneumonia, 20-22 mg/kg for streptococcosis.
