Eimeriaplex 60% WSP delivers a higher concentration of amprolium hydrochloride (60%) as a water-soluble powder, supplemented with menadione (vitamin K3), EDTA, and sodium benzoate. Like its feed-grade counterpart, amprolium acts as a thiamine antagonist that starves coccidial parasites of an essential nutrient; because it cannot penetrate the intestinal mucosal cell membrane, it is practically non-toxic at label doses and passes through the bird largely unabsorbed. It is effective against the Eimeria species affecting chickens and turkeys (including E. tenella, E. acervulina, E. necatrix, and E. maxima) as well as Eimeria and Cryptosporidium parvum in calves and sheep, and is dosed through drinking water to prevent and treat coccidiosis outbreaks.

Dosage: Preventive: 200 g per cubic metre of drinking water. Therapeutic: 400 g per cubic metre for 7-10 days in broilers, pullets and breeding poultry, or 5-10 days in turkeys.
