Eimeriaplex FP 25% is an anticoccidial based on amprolium hydrochloride (25%), a thiamine analogue that competitively blocks the parasite's uptake of thiamine, starving it of an essential cofactor. Because amprolium cannot cross the intestinal mucosal cell membrane, it is poorly absorbed and virtually non-toxic at therapeutic doses, and it is excreted largely unchanged in the faeces without blocking the bird's natural development of anticoccidial immunity. It is active against essentially all Eimeria species found in chickens, as well as Eimeria and Cryptosporidium in calves and sheep, and is used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in broilers, replacement pullets, breeding poultry, and turkeys.

Dosage: Prophylactic use: 500 g per tonne of feed. Therapeutic use: 1000 g per tonne of feed for 7-10 days.
