Maxipul WSP 62.5% is a macrolide antimicrobial built on tilvalosine tartrate, active against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level by inactivating the translocase enzyme, giving it an edge over older macrolides, and it additionally boosts macrophage activity to support the bird's non-specific immune response. Tilvalosine is rapidly absorbed, reaching peak blood levels within 1-3 hours and maintaining therapeutic concentrations for around 18 hours. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infectious sinusitis, salpingitis, necrotic enteritis, cholangiohepatitis, dyspepsia, and other bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Dosage: 24-40 mg/kg body weight for broiler chickens, replacement young stock and broiler breeders; 40 mg/kg body weight for turkeys, administered via drinking water.
