A macrolide antimicrobial highly active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, blocking protein synthesis at the ribosomal level by inactivating translocase. Reaches peak serum concentration within 1-3 hours and remains active for roughly 18 hours, while also boosting macrophage and phagocyte activity. Indicated for salpingitis, necrotic enteritis, dyspepsia, enzootic pneumonia, ileitis, colitis and dysentery.

Dosage: 4-8 mg/kg body weight.
