MoniGran is a polyether ionophore coccidiostat based on monensin sodium (20%), one of the most widely used feed additives for coccidiosis prevention and productivity support in poultry. It disrupts the parasite's ion balance through a combination of electroneutral, electrogenic, and ion-exchange mechanisms that interfere with transmembrane cation transport and energy-dependent transhydrogenase activity. It is active against the full spectrum of Eimeria species affecting chickens and turkeys and is fed continuously to prevent and control coccidiosis in growing flocks.

Dosage: 450-500 g per tonne of feed for broiler chickens; 300-405 g per tonne of feed for replacement pullets and turkeys up to 16 weeks of age; duration and dose fine-tuned using OPG monitoring and intestinal lesion scoring.
