NKP
$205.00
NKP combines two antibiotics: multiomycin, a bicyclic thiopeptide active against gram-positive bacteria, and kitasamycin, a macrolide that reversibly binds the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit to block protein synthesis. Together they act against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, including Clostridium perfringens (the cause of necrotic enteritis), Salmonella spp., and Mycoplasma spp. The drug is barely absorbed from the gut, is excreted largely unchanged, and remains stable through the feed pelleting process, making it well suited to in-feed use for the prevention and treatment of necrotic enteritis, salmonellosis, and mycoplasmosis in poultry. It is not recommended for use in laying hens during egg production.
