A bacteriostatic macrolide antimicrobial, highly active against gram-positive organisms and a number of gram-negative microorganisms. Inhibits bacterial adhesion to epithelial cells, accumulates in macrophages and neutrophils, and provides immunomodulatory and mild anti-inflammatory effects. Used for respiratory disease, dysentery, streptococcosis, MMA syndrome, salmonellosis, leptospirosis, chlamydiosis, cryptosporidiosis and other spiramycin-sensitive infections.

Dosage: 66-100 mg/kg body weight.
