From 25 to 27 January 2023, Vetpharmstandard – together with its partners IL Test Pushchino and TKF Korpas – took part in the 4th International Exhibition of Breeding, Feed, Veterinary Products and Technologies for Livestock, Pig and Poultry Farming (AGROS-2023), held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
AGROS-2023 brought together all the key segments of the livestock industry – dairy and beef cattle farming, pig farming and poultry farming – and remains one of the leading exhibitions for the feed and veterinary industry. This year the show attracted more than 14,000 visitors from 84 regions of Russia and 43 countries, with 415 producers and suppliers from 25 countries taking part.
Throughout the exhibition, the Vetpharmstandard stand was visited by more than 420 guests, including leading specialists from the feed and veterinary sectors, meat processors, business owners and managers of both small and large enterprises, and staff from research institutes and laboratories.
Committed to continuous innovation, Vetpharmstandard and its partner testing laboratories and research institutes focus on applying modern technologies to product development, offering clients a broad range of advanced, high-quality and effective solutions.
Many visitors to the stand were especially interested in the company's innovative products based on cetylpyridinium chloride, used to reduce microbial contamination during poultry and livestock slaughter, in the processing of poultry carcasses and animal half-carcasses, at meat and fish processing plants, in sausage and fish workshops, and at wholesale and retail meat and fish outlets – as well as for treating protein and sausage casings, fish carcasses, and for reducing bacterial contamination of meat-and-bone, bone, meat and feather meal.
Working solutions of cetylpyridinium chloride have good wetting properties and low surface tension, allowing the molecule to penetrate deep into the surface layers of carcasses and provide a prolonged bactericidal effect. Importantly, these solutions do not affect the appearance, physico-chemical composition or organoleptic properties of the products. They are also widely used to disinfect the surfaces of processing and auxiliary equipment, removable parts, work areas and utensils at food and processing enterprises that come into contact with raw materials, ingredients and finished products.
Participating in AGROS-2023 gave Vetpharmstandard a valuable opportunity to develop industrial cooperation, exchange best practice, and advance the introduction of modern technologies – reflecting the values that guide the company's work in improving the livestock sector as a whole.
